Our main goal is to give you a stress-free time while doing your car’s bodywork with us. That’s why we walk with you through the body shop insurance claim process and handle all the red tape.

How it works — our quick process
First step
Bring the crash report and sit with our estimator. He will help you open your claim. If your car is not drivable we’ll tow it for free to WR Body Shop.
Second step
The adjuster will come to our body shop and make the estimate that allows us to start working on your vehicle.
Third step
Once repairs begin, our highly trained staff keeps you and the insurance company up to date. You’ll also get a rental car according to your policy.
Last step
After your car is completely restored, we also provide a courtesy Diamond Detailing Package (cleaning and polishing).
After an accident: how we’ll help
Remember to exchange information with those involved. Answer police questions truthfully, but do not accept or cast blame for the accident. Record the scene — take photos and videos of the accident.
While waiting for the police, share your contact information, license number and insurance information with the other drivers:
- Name, address and contact details
- Driver’s license number
- License plate number
- Auto insurance information
If the other driver is uncooperative, wait for the responding police to collect the license and insurance information and share it.
Request a copy of the police report with MassDOT’s Request for Copy of Crash Report form.
In Massachusetts, you must report your car crash within five days of the accident. Complete the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Motor Vehicle Crash Operator Report and submit it to the police department where the accident happened. After some days they will email you the final police report.
Bring the police report to WR Auto Body — from there we take care of everything. Our tow driver will pick up your car at the accident location or a garage. You can hand him the police report or bring it to us.
Our claim specialist will report your claim to your insurance company and meet the assigned claims professional to get the repair estimate. The adjuster will represent you in discussions with third parties, other insurance companies and anyone else involved, investigate the circumstances and get the claim settled and your vehicle repaired.
You will likely meet your claims adjuster in person or talk by phone. If you need a rental while your vehicle is repaired and have the rental endorsement on your policy, we can arrange substitute transportation.
